Arts
At Ramana Vidyaniketan, the Arts form a key component of our curriculum. In keeping with its mission statement, Ramana Vidyaniketan strives to offer enhanced opportunities in the Arts, integrated within the wider academic curriculum.

Arts In Primary School
The Arts at Ramana Vidyaniketan consist of visual art and performing arts. Both disciplines are an integral part of the transdisciplinary programme of learning.
The Arts programme includes exploring ideas and improvising with ways to represent them, responding to and interpreting the Arts, developing skills and processes, and sharing the Arts through performances, presentations, or displays for an audience. At Ramana Vidyaniketan, the three dimensions—knowledge, skills, and enduring understandings—are given equal emphasis. Learners are immersed in creative learning that is transferable, fostering a sense of pride in work that reflects individual flair and a personal touch.

Art in Secondary School
Students from classes 6 to 8 experience the Arts through a practical and focused system. This approach enables them to fully immerse themselves in one artistic discipline at a time, developing meaningful techniques and skills, and then applying those skills to create their own original artistic work.
Students in classes 9 and 10 have the option to specialize in up to two Arts subjects, allowing them to delve deeper into their chosen disciplines and pursue them throughout the year.
